The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on the April 8th around 12:20 am deputies arrested a Florida woman for driving while intoxicated in the Town of Varick.Deputies say they arrested and charged Leslie R. Altman, 50, of Surfside, Florida for driving while intoxicated after discovering a vehicle that way off the side of the roadway on State Route 414. The vehicle was located in the Town of Varick. Deputies say they learned that Altman was intoxicated while operating her motor vehicle upon investigation. Altman was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated .08% or greater, failure to maintain lane, and unregistered motor vehicle. Deputies issued appearance tickets to Altman and she will appear in the Varick Town Court on April 13th at 7 pm.
