The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Naples woman was charged with driving while ability impaired in the Town of Canandaigua on Saturday.Dawn M. Dufresne, 49, of Naples was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs on a traffic stop on State Route 364 in the Town of Canandaigua. She submitted to a drug evaluation performed by a certified drug recognition expert, which revealed that she was driving while ability impaired by drugs.Dufresne was found to be in possession of a green leafy substance which tested positive to be marijuana. Deputies say she was issued citations for an uninspected motor vehicle, having a cracked windshield, as well as DWAI. She will answer the charges at a later date in the Town of Canandaigua.
