A Wind Advisory remains in effect for most of the Finger Lakes, straight through Wednesday and into early Thursday morning. The National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory for Cayuga, Cortland, Ontario, Onondaga, Seneca, Schuyler, Steuben, Tompkins, and Livingston counties.The advisory runs through the day on Wednesday and expires at 2 am on Thursday. Winds are expected to be sustained between 15 and 30 mph throughout the Finger Lakes, with gusts up to 50 mph.The National Weather Service urges property owners to take in loose objects, which could become projectiles in the strong southerly winds — and for motorists to use extreme caution when operating high-profile vehicles in conditions like these.
