A Canandaigua man was involved in a one-car accident on Route 364 in the Town of Gorham when the vehicle he was operating struck a pole. Jeremy Hurlburt, 32, of Canandaigua was traveling on Route 364 when his vehicle drifted off the east side of the road and struck a buildup of slush. Deputies from Ontario County report that the vehicle then traveled off the west side of the road and struck a brick retaining wall, as well as a NYSEG pole. Deputies say the vehicle was towed from the scene and Hurlburt suffered a head injury, which was treated at the scene by Canandaigua Ambulance. He was issued a traffic ticket for failing to keep right. Crystal Beach Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
