On Sunday the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Matthew J. Coats, age 29 of Auburn, for driving while intoxicated, driving with 0.08% or more BAC, aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd degree, and leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident. Coats was arrested following a traffic stop on State Route 89 in the Town of Seneca Falls after he allegedly left the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident that occurred near State Route 318 and State Route 5 in the Town of Seneca Falls. 
Coats was released on traffic tickets and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on April 18th, 2016, at 6:00 PM to answer the charges.
