On Saturday, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Rochester woman was charged with petit larceny following a theft from an Eastview Mall store in Victor.Deputies found that Malika N. Muakali, 22, of Rochester had stolen $775.99 worth of merchandise from Von Maur. She was also charged with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree. It was found that the defendant had items from Anthropology and Francesca’s, which was valued at $270.She was arraigned in Victor Town Court, where she will answer the charges at a later date. She was remanded to the Ontario County Jail.
