More charges for SC pair involved in heroin distribution

A lengthy investigation into the sale and distribution of heroin and opiate pills in the Village of Waterloo resulted in charges for two Waterloo residents, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.On Friday, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit charged two subjects as result of an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of heroin and other opiate pills. Kley M. Greenfield, 33, of Waterloo was charged with three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree — class B felonies. Daniel R. Paulsen, 49, of Waterloo was also arrested and charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance — class B felonies. Paulsen was also charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree — which is a class B felony.It is alleged that Greenfield sold heroin on two separate occasions and sold a quantity of oxymorphone, commonly known as Opana, on one occasion, while in the Village of Waterloo. Paulsen is accused of selling heroin on two separate occasions while in the Village of Waterloo.Both were arraigned in Waterloo Town Court and remanded back to the Seneca County Correctional Facility. Both Greenfield and Paulsen are already remanded to the Correctional Facility in relation to multiple drug charges stemming from two search warrants that were executed on February 19th.
