On Thursday morning, just before noon a jogger was struck on Phillips Road, as an oncoming vehicle entered from Pinnacle Drive in Victor.According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office a 2009 Subaru, which was being operated by Aaron Schlarbaum, was traveling east on Pinnacle Drive when it entered the intersection with Phillips Road and struck a pedestrian, who was jogging. The pedestrian was later identified as Thomas Fink, of Rochester, who was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for head injuries. Schlarbaum was issued a traffic citation for failing to yield the right of way while entering a roadway. He will answer the charge at a later date.Details of Fink’s condition were not released at time of this update. Stay tuned for more information.
