The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Canandaigua man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 6:33 pm on Sunday evening. Deputies arrested Joseph Vigneri, 50, of Canandaigua for felony driving while intoxicated after operating a 1999 Dodge Caravan westbound on County Road 46 where the traffic stop occurred. Vigneri has one previous DWI within the last ten years, which made this a felony charged. He was cited additionally for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, uninspected motor vehicle and unsafe tire.He will appear before the Hopewell Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
