Guys and Dolls coming to The South Seneca Stage!

The South Seneca Falcon Players proudly present Frank Loesser’s Guys & Dolls at the South Seneca Middle-Senior High School Auditorium on March 11th, 12th, & 13th. Curtain times for Friday and Saturday evenings are at 7:30 pm. Curtain time for the Sunday matinee is 2 pm.Set in Damon Runyon’s mythical New York City, Guys & Dolls is an oddball romantic comedy that won the Tony Award for best Musical in 1950. Gambler Nathan Detroit (Nathaniel Bauder) tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck; meanwhile, his girlfriend, nightclub performer Adelaide (Gemini Zajac), laments that they’ve been engaged for 14 years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler Sky Masterson (Eli Corning) for the dough, but Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown (Julia Diamond). Guys & Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong. Guys & Dolls brings us some of THE most classic songs of Broadway including: Luck Be a Lady, A Bushel and A Peck, I’ve Never Been In Love Before, Adelaide’s Lament, I’ll Know, Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat, Guys & Dolls, If I were a Bell, More I Cannot Wish You, , Sue Me, and oh, so many more!The cast of 35 is directed by Tina Coville-Bauder with technical direction by Mark Sinkiewicz. Kyla Quinn serves as the vocal director and Chad Eastman is the choreographer. The pit is conducted by Rebecca Sarkis. Ticket prices are $8 for general admission and $7 for students and senior citizens. They may be purchased from Cast Members or by calling for reservations at 869-9636 ext. 1250.
