The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Sunday, February 21st, at approximately 5:07 pm Katherine Rice, 35, of Canandaigua was arrested after stealing an array of items from the Walmart on 5&20 in Canandaigua. She was observed by Walmart security placing grocery items as well as car floor mats, bath sheets, a shower curtain and bowls into reusable shopping bags and exiting the store, passing all points of purchase.Rice was arrested and issued an appearance ticket to reappear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date to answer the charge of petit larceny. The value of the items was $94.69.
