Syracuse Police are looking for a 21-month-old child who they believe was abducted by her father.

An AMBER Alert was issued Sunday morning for the missing child, as the Syracuse Police Department works tirelessly to locate the missing child and her father. Police believe the pair may have last been seen at the Destiny USA parking lot in Syracuse.The New York State AMBER Alert was activated a little before 11:00 am. Police say the abduction took place near Valley Drive, in Syracuse at approximately 10:57 pm Saturday night. They describe the child, Maddox Lawrence as a white female, approximately a year old, with blonde hair and brown eyes. The missing child was last seen wearing a white shirt with pink collar and brown puppies, long pink pants, a blue coat with pink interior, brown suede shoes and a gray knit hat with pom-poms.

They describe the suspect, Ryan Lawrence as a white male, approximately 24-years-old, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shell jacket, blue jeans, and tan timberland boots. The suspect left home with the child last night after leaving information indicating that he was going to harm himself and posibly the child.The suspect has a history of mental health issues and is emotionally unstable, according to the AMBER Alert issued Sunday morning.
