Penn Yan man arrested for possession of marijuana

On Saturday at approximately 11:30 pm the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Nicholas Skorusa, age 20 of Clinton Street in Penn Yan, for criminal possession of marijuana 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.Following a traffic stop Skorusa was found to be in possession of a freezer bag containing 2.1 ounces of marijuana as well as a glass pipe and a water bong in the cup holder of the vehicle.Skorusa was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
