On February 13th at approximately 5:58 am the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that emergency crews responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident on County Road 28. Leslie Smith, 33, of Canandaigua was operating a Toyota SUV traveling northbound on County Road 28 when she lost control of the vehicle, going off the road and striking a fence post before coming to rest in a ditch. Smith was transported to FF Thompson Hospital for a complaint of neck pain by Shortsville Ambulance with Victor Farmington ALS. She was ticketed for speed not reasonable and prudent and will answer the charge in the Farmington Town Court at a later date.
