The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that on February 13th at approximately 6:14 am Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Hopewell on State Routes 5&20. Deputies found that a vehicle operated by T. Garrison-Lindner, 48, of Stanley was following James Estrada, 44, of Geneva when Estrada’s vehicle rear-ended Garrison-Lindner’s. Authorities point out that weather likely played a role in the accident, and Garrison-Lindner was transported to Thompson Hospital for a neck injury. Estrada was issued a ticket for following too closely.Traffic was diverted into one lane as the vehicles were removed by tow trucks.
