On Thursday at approximately 8:30 pm members of the Geneva Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit ended a two month investigation into the sale of crack cocaine by the arrest of Fabien T. Reid, AKA “Fab”, age 36 of 100 Lewis Street in Geneva, on a traffic stop on Route 14 in the Town of Phelps.During the traffic stop Officers seized $500 of crack cocaine, $1,000 in US Currency, and marijuana. A search warrant at Reid’s residence was then executed. More narcotics and packaging materials were located.Reid was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony. Reid was arraigned and held on no bail due to previous felony arrests.OCSD K9 assisted in the arrest.
