The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals on multiple charges stemming from a vehicle stop on Sunday in the Village of Montour Falls. Deputies charged Amber M. Schoch, age 24 of Bath, for aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, a class E felony, tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony, criminal impersonation in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor, driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, several traffic infractions, and refusal to take a chemical test. Charges allege that Schoch drove a vehicle with a suspended license, while under the influence of drugs, provided a false name, refused to submit to a chemical test, and destroyed evidence during the investigation. Schoch was arraigned in the Village of Montour Falls Court where she was remanded to jail in lieu of $10,000/$20,000 bail/bond. During the traffic stop Deputies also arrested Kevin J. Tibbits, age 36 of Arkport, for criminal impersonation in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor. Charges allege that Tibbits provided a false name to deputies. Tibbits was arraigned in the Village of Montour Falls Court where he was remanded to jail in lieu of $500/$1000 bail/bond.
