The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday at 01:52 am Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Christopher L Courtright, 26 of 7183 Main Street in Ovid, and Shawn M Rousseau, 31 of 8612 Lodi Covert Townline Road on County Rd 129 in Ovid. Courtright was charged with felony DWI, felony driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs combination, refusal to submit to a breath test and inadequate head lights. Courtright was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in the Town of Ovid Court on February 16th to answer the charges. Rousseau, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to have an active warrant for failure to appear out of Schuyler County. Rousseau was turned over to the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office for further action.
