On February 6th at 8:13 pm the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Risser Road and Emerson Road for the report of a property damage motor vehicle accident. Hector Diaz, 69, of Farmington was west bound on Emerson Road when he attempted to make the right hand turn onto Risser Road. Diaz is reported to have taken the turn too wide and struck another vehicle that was stopped at the stop sign on Risser Road.Diaz was arrested at the scene for DWI and was issued the appropriate UTT’s. He was reelased to a third party. Diaz will answer the charges in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.The vehicle was towed from the scene of the accident.
