Waterloo man charged after impound lot break-out

On Friday at about 9:30 am Seneca Falls Police arrested Jeremiah J. Rathbone, age 36, of 2875 Bauer Road in Waterloo, on an arrest warrant for criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, a Class E Felony, and criminal trespass in the 3rd degree.The charges stem from an incident in October of 2014 where Rathbone is accused of unlawfully entering the fenced in impound lot at Eagle Auto Center in Seneca Falls and driving an impounded vehicle through the gate causing approximately $1,500.00 in damage.Rathbone was arraigned in the Town of Tyre Court and was released after posting $500 cash bail. Rathbone is to re-appear in the Town of Tyre Court on February 9th at 4pm.
