The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that a two car accident in the town of Varick landed a Romulus woman in the hospital. Deputies reported that on January 29th at approximately 7:43 am first responders were called to the scene of a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident. A vehicle operated by Autumn Twist, 34, of Romulus was stopped at the intersection of Route 96 and Yale Farm Road — waiting to make a left turn — when her vehicle was rear ended by a vehicle operated by Jesse Wise, 18 of Romulus. Twist sustained head and stomach injuries and was transported by South Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital. Romulus Fire Department assisted at the scene. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene. Wise was ticketed for following too close and will appear in the Town of Varick Court on February 24th to answer the charges.
