A Seneca Falls teen was arrested this weekend and charged in a pair of local shoplifting incidents, one at D.A. Liquor on Bridge Street and a second at the Nice & Easy convenience store on Fall Street,On January 22nd, at approximately 3:45 pm, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Joshua L. Voorhees, age 17, of 5 Troy Street in Seneca Falls, for Petit Larceny. Voorhees is accused of stealing merchandise valued at $35 from D A Liquor 20 Bridge St Seneca Falls. Voorhees was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on February 22nd, 2016, at 6:00 PM to answer the charge.On January 24th at 6:15 pm, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Voorhees for Petit Larceny again in a separate incident. Voorhees is accused of stealing merchandise valued at $24.32 from Nice and Easy 193 Fall Street in Seneca Falls. Voorhees was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on February 4th, 2016 at 10:00 am, to answer to the second charge.
