The Village of Waterloo Police Department reports on Thursday at 2:33 pm Willie E Love Jr., 52 of 16 Clark Street in Waterloo, was arrested following a domestic incident. It is reported that Love allegedly engaged in a physical confrontation with a female at a Village of Waterloo residence. It is further reported that that over the course of the altercation that Love broke property belonging to the female. Love also allegedly prevented the female from leaving the residence and physically stopped her as she attempted to seek emergency assistance via cellular phone. Love was charged with harassment in the second degree, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, and two counts of criminal mischief in the fourth degree. Love was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and released on his own recognizance. A class A order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim and Love is scheduled to reappear in the Village of Waterloo Court at a later date.
