The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on Tuesday at approximately 1316 Deputies responded to the intersection of Townline Road and Route 318 in the Town of Junius, for a reported vehicle fire. Upon Deputies arrival the vehicle was extinguished by Oaks Corners and Junius Fire Department. The owner of the vehicle Jacqueline J. Christman, age 75 of 1900 Clintion Ave in Rochester, was operating the vehicle at the time of the fire, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The vehicle was a total loss and was estimated to be valued at $11,000. There were no injuries sustained during the incident. The fire was ruled to be accidental caused by a fuel leak.
