The Wine Weekday Passport returns again in 2016 for fans of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. Passport holders may visit any of the 23 participating wineries on a weekday to enjoy a complimentary standard flight of wine. Valid from January 4th through June 30th, the Wine Weekday Passport is the Trail’s longest-running passport program, offering locals and visitors alike the opportunity to visit on the lighter trafficked weekdays. “Passports are an especially great value for regional residents that can readily visit our Trail more than once per season, enabling them to explore all of the many participating wineries across multiple weeks”, Executive Director Paul Thomas explains. “One-time visitors to the region that plan on visiting at least 8-10 wineries will likely also find this product to be a good value.” Passport holders have an opportunity to earn a Wine Weekday Passport for the 2017 season by purchasing at least one bottle of wine from a minimum of 12 participating wineries, having their Passport stamped confirming the purchase, and returning the stamped page to the Trail office by the due date.
