Lyons woman goes unconscious causing Waterloo crash

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on Christmas Eve at approximately 5:15 pm, Sheriff Deputies arrested 24-year-old Nicole M. Pursati of 4 Ditton Street in Lyons, for Reckless Endangerment 2nd, Reckless Driving, and other V&T violations.The arrest stems from a one car motor vehicle accident on State Route 96 in the Town of Waterloo.Deputies report that Pursati, while operating a vehicle, was allegedly inhaling a substance which caused her to go unconscious. As a result the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.Deputies are continuing their investigation and Pursati was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear at the Waterloo Town Court on January 27, 2016 to answer the charges.
