The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce and Hampton Inn Seneca Falls are pleased to announce the Seneca County House of Concern as the December Business of the Month. Proudly serving local neighbors in need for more than 45 years, the Seneca County House of Concern helps provide individuals and families with basic needs such as food, clothes and household items, treating everyone with dignity and respect. With a core staff of ten and countless volunteers, the House of Concern is able to serve the surrounding Seneca Falls and Waterloo area, while continuing to connect with various locations throughout the county. Although the House of Concerns mission is a food pantry, in 2014 they provided over 250,000 meals to residents of Seneca County. Most recently the House of Concern teamed up with the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge and TRAC team to put on a community Thanksgiving Dinner providing 502 meals to residents in Seneca County. “We couldn’t serve the number we do without the support and want the community to know how much their support means to their neighbors in need. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to this amazing community for all their continued support” said Executive Director Rhonda Pollino.
