Outgoing Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg and Undersheriff Gary Sullivan have issued their final annual report to the Seneca County Board of Supervisors and the citizens of Seneca County. This excerpt was taken from the opening paragraphs of the report…As you know this is our last and final annual report as both Undersheriff Sullivan and I will be retiring at the end of 2015. During the past eight years, we and our staff have worked tirelessly to bring an Office and staff that was looked down upon by the citizens of Seneca County into a highly respected professional Sheriff’s Offices in the State of New York. We were told eight years ago by some members of our Office that they were embarrassed to be seen in a Seneca County Sheriff’s uniform in public – Today, that has changed, our members and civilian staff are constantly being told by the public how much the Office of Sheriff has improved and we are now looked upon in a favorable light.Click here to read the full report in .pdf format.
