Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators report the arrest of Peter J. Edwards II, age 31 of 48C South Onondaga Road in Nedrow, NY.Edwards was arrested on Wednesday when he surrendered himself at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center on an arrest warrant issued out of the Town of Varick Court. The arrest warrant was issued for Edwards on charges of Arson in the fourth degree, Criminal Mischief in the second degree, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.It is alleged that Edwards II engaged in an incident at 2609 County Road 124 in the Town of Varick on September 10th, 2015 where he set fire to a 2013 Dodge Ram pick up truck and also removed evidence from the crime scene of a shooting incident at the same location.Edwards II was arraigned before Town of Varick Court Justice Ettman where he was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Varick Court on December 30th to further answer the charges.The remaining two suspects Marcus A. Redeye and Devin R. Bomberry are still at large and being sought in connection with the shooting and arson on County Road 124 in the Town of Varick on September 10, 2015.
