24-year-old killed in Sennett crash

Sheriff David Gould reports that on Thursday at approximately 11:28 am Deputies responded to Franklin Street Road near the intersection of Parcell Road in the Town of Sennett for a reported one car motor vehicle accident. The investigation has revealed that a 1996 Dodge pick-up truck was being operated in a westerly direction of Franklin Street Road when it failed to negotiate a curve and struck a tree. The driver of the vehicle, 24 year old Kristopher Green of 6633 Route 90 in Cayuga, was transported to Upstate University Hospital by Mercy Flight Helicopter. ~~Green remains at Upstate University Hospital in Critical condition.~~Kristopher Green died Friday afternoon at the hospital as a result of injuries sustained in accident.Assisting at the scene were Sennett Fire Department, Skaneateles Fire Department, Mottville Fire Department, SAVES Ambulance, Rural Metro Ambulance, Mercy Flight Helicopter, and the Cayuga County E911 Center.
