The Village of Waterloo Police Department reports that on Wednesday at 8:00 pm Scott W Meldrum was arrested for Criminal contempt in the first degree. The arrest stems from an incident occurring on November 26th involving Meldrum staying at a residence in the Village of Waterloo while there was an active class A order of protection advising him to stay away from the residence. Meldrum was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and released on his own recognizance. Meldrum is scheduled to reappear in the Village of Waterloo Court on 01/16/16.
