The East Lakeview Neighborhood Association is looking to unify and beautify their community by turning it blue for the holidays. The association is asking residents to place a blue bulb in their front porch light or in a lamp in a front facing window during the holiday season of Nov 26- Jan 1. The Geneva Neighborhood Resource Center has 50 bulbs available for interested residents. Neighbors are asked to call the GNRC at 315-828-6588 or email Julie@genevanrc.org if they are interested in picking up a bulb. Delivery is available as well, thanks to a local resident in the neighborhood. The East Lakeview Neighborhood Association is a gateway into the city, and the association believes it will add an appealing touch to have the neighborhood decorated for unity with the Blue Light Campaign. The blue lightbulbs are limited in number, so they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Don’t be left in the dark during the holiday season!
