On November 6th the Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a one car person injury motor vehicle accident on State Route 5&20 in the Town of Waterloo. A 2013 Chevy SUV operated by Eugene H. Fleming, age 70 of 121 Bennett Street in Geneva, was west bound on Route 5&20 when his vehicle left the North side of the road, struck some mail boxes, then a utility pole. The vehicle then went air born about ten feet and struck a second utility pole. The vehicle then struck another mailbox and a solar light before coming to rest. Fleming complained of neck pain, and was transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital.Border City Fire Dept. assisted at the scene. The vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed fr om the scene.
