On Thursday at approximately 4:30 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police arrested Mary C. Atkachonis, age 32, for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the second degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fifth degree. The arrest stems from an investigation into an incident that occurred at a local business on August 20th. Atkachonis was arraigned in Town of Seneca Falls Court and was released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to re-appear in court on December 3rd at 5:00 pm.Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators arrested Mary C. Atkachonis, age 32 of no permanent address, on charges related to the alleged sale of prescription pills in the Town of Seneca Falls. Atkachonis was charged with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, a Class B Felony, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class B Felony. It is alleged that Atkachonis sold a quantity of methylphenidate to another person while in the Town of Seneca Falls. Atkachonis was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court and remanded back to the Ontario County Correctional Facility as she is being held on unrelated charges. The Seneca Falls Police Department assisted in the investigation and arrest.
