Local firemen, Dan Appleby, Jay Dey, and Mike Snyder, from the Ovid Fire Department, visited South Seneca Elementary School students in recognition of Fire Safety and Prevention Week. The firemen were dressed in their gear for the students to see and hear, demonstrated what to do in case of a fire and talked about fire safety rulesFireman Jay Dey, dressed in full gear talking with the students at South Seneca Elementary about what firefighters do when they go into a home looking for a person or child.
