On Saturday the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Charles Parmelee, 55 of 5112 Wabash Road in Geneva, for two counts of Issuing a Bad Check.Parmelee allegedly wrote a check for $37.09 and another for $39.16 to Morgans Grocery in Penn Yan with insufficient funds in his account.Parmelee is to appear in the Village of Penn Yan Court at a later date.
