On October 9th at approximately 1:19 pm the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Kayla Marie Pond, 21 of Waverly, for AUO 3rd and Speeding after a traffic stop in the Village of Penn Yan.Police initiated a traffic stop after Pond was observed travelling at 46 mph on Brown Street. A check of Pond’s driving privileges in NYS showed to be suspended on two occasions for Failure to Answer Summons from Erwin Town Court.Pond was charged and is to return to Penn Yan Village Court at a later date to answer the charges.
