On October 9th at approximately 11:07 pm the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Danielle R. Laplante, age 31 of Clinton Street in Penn Yan, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operator in the second degree and insufficient tail lamps.Following a traffic stop on Main Street a check of Laplante’s operating privileges revealed that her license was suspended 4 Scoffs on 3 separate dates out of Oneida and Lewis Counties. Laplante was released and will appear in Village Court at a later date to answer the charges.Lisa L. Bourgeous, 79 of 21 Walnut Hill, was arrested by Penn Yan Police on October 10th at 4:16 am following a traffic stop on East Elm Street. A check of Bourgeous’ operating privileges revealed that she was revoked by the Department of Motor Vehicle on 8/24/15 for Failure of Road Test Re-examination.Bourgeous was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree. She was released and will appear in village court at a later date to answer the charges.
