On Sunday at approximately 4:35 pm the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Beverly F. Pinckney, age 73 of 2389 Widow Hill Road in Penn Yan, for DWI, Driving with .08 or more.Pinckney was operating her vehicle on Liberty Street and pulled into the Express Stop. While attempting to park her vehicle Pinckney ran into the store’s brick facade near the front doors. She was found to be in an intoxicated condition and was placed under arrest and taken to the Yates County Public Safety Building for a breath test. Pinckney was issued tickets and will appear in Penn Yan Village Court on October 26th.
