Teen arrested in Geneva home burglaries

An arrest has been made following several residential burglaries in the areas of E. North Street, White Springs Road, Castle Street, and the area of Hamilton Street in Geneva.Police arrested Derrick T. Watson, age 16 of 560 West North Street in Geneva, on one count of Burglary 2nd Degree charges, Class C Felony.The subject was held on $5000/10000 bail and will return to Geneva City Court. Additional Charges are pending.The investigation into additional suspects and the multiple locations is continuing with additional arrests expected.The public is again encouraged to call or email with any information about the suspected burglaries to call the Geneva Police dispatch line at 315.789.1111 and ask for Detective Brian Choffin.
