The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on September 27th at approximately 6:35 pm Deputies arrested Michael B. Spencer, age 18 of 164 Clark Street in Canandaigua, for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. The arrest stems from a traffic stop on State Route 96 in the Town of Ovid. Upon investigation Deputies discovered Spencer to be in possession of marijuana. The passenger of the vehicle Tyler T. Squires, age 19 of 2284 Rochester Street in Canandaigua, was cited for an open container and arrested on a warrant out of the City of Canandaigua for failure to pay fine. Squires was turned over to Canandaigua Police Department. Spencer was issued a UTT and an Appearance Ticket and is to appear in the Town of Ovid Court on October 27th at 10:00 am to answer to the charges.
