The Seneca County Sheriff reports that on September 23rd Sheriff’s investigators along with Seneca County Welfare Fraud investigators arrested Tonya M. Thorpe, age 29 of Stanton Meadows in Seneca Falls. Thorpe was charged with welfare fraud in the fifth degree (misdemeanor class A) and petit larceny (misdemeanor class A). Thorpe was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and released on her own recognizance. Thorpe is to re-appear before the Waterloo Village Court on October 21st to answer the charges.
