On September 24th at approximately 5:42 PM the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested James C. Avery Jr, of 28 Clinton Street in Seneca Falls, for Operating a Vessel While Intoxicated, refusal of a preliminary breath test, and no visual distress signal. These charges stem from a complaint of a boat that went ashore on the Seneca-Cayuga Canal. Avery was arraigned on these charges and released on his own recognizance. Avery is due back in Seneca Falls Town Court on October 5th at 6:00 pm.
