Seneca Community Players announces the production of “Dead Metaphor,” George F. Walker’s lively, dark comedy that takes no prisoners. “Dead Metaphor” takes aim at corrupt politicians, hypocritical religious leaders and the apathetic public at large in a savagely funny deconstruction of post-9/11 society. It evokes a callous world where everyone celebrates war heroes but no one gives them a job. “Dead Metaphor” is directed by Becky Bly of Seneca Falls. An experienced, award-winning director, Bly has drawn together a top-notch staff and crew to assist her in bringing this fearless satire to local audiences. This show features adult language and themes. It is recommended for mature audiences.
