On Friday September 18th at about 10:48 pm the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators arrested Kimberly D. Silbernagel, age 48 of 55 Washington Street, Apartment A, in Waterloo, on charges stemming from a traffic stop on East Main Street in the Village of Waterloo. Silbernagel was charged with: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, a Class D Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation It is alleged that Silbernagel possessed a quantity of cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana, and a digital scale. The suspected cocaine was in a concealed location and was located by the Sheriff’s Office K-9 “Aken.” Silbernagel was arraigned in the Waterloo Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1,000 cash bail/$2,000 secured bond. Silbernagel is to reappear in the Waterloo Village Court on September 23, 2015 at 9 am. A passenger in the vehicle, Thomas M. Farnsworth, age 46 of 102 East Elizabeth Street in Waterloo, had an active Bench Warrant for Failure to Pay Fine out of the Seneca Falls Town Court. Farnsworth was turned over to the Seneca Falls Police Department for further action. Sheriff’s Investigators were assisted at the scene by the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics K-9 Unit, Sheriff’s Office Uniform Road Patrol, Waterloo Police Department, and the Seneca County Probation Department.
