On Sunday at approximately 9:59 pm the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Jeddrik Cummings, age 21 of County Route 364 in Penn Yan, for Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd, a class A misdemeanor.At or about 7:52 pm the Village Police were sent to an address on East Main Street for a report of three males fighting. Officers were then informed that one of the males, identified as Jeddrik Cummings, had fled the scene and was headed towards the Outlet Trail. An Officer located Cummings and attempted to detain him for questioning, but Cummings refused to cooperate and be seated in the patrol vehicle. Cummings then fled from the Officer but was later found at a residence on County Route 364 and placed under arrest.Cummings was arraigned in the Penn Yan Village Court where bail was set at $500 cash or $1000 property bond.
