On Sunday September 6th The Penn Yan Police Department responded to a car/pedestrian MVA . Curtis Trank, age 52 of 330 Main Street in Penn Yan, was attempting to cross Liberty Street in the middle of the 200 block. Trank made it through the first two lanes but failed to see the vehicle coming in the left hand turning lane. Trank walked into the passenger side view mirror and his head made contact with the A post, cracking the windshield. Trank was transported to Strong Memorial as a caution for the head injury.
