Get ready to #Fall4Geneva! The City of Geneva, with the lead of the Geneva Events Factory, will be hosting a week-long celebration from during the week of September 27- October 3 with dozens of festivities. “This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate all of the uniquely urban attributes that have won the City of Geneva four state and national recognitions in 2015,” said Events Factory manager Chelsea Campbell. Geneva was the recipient of the All-America City Award, Playful City USA, Tree City and NYCOM Awards this year. Organizations, businesses, neighborhoods, and city departments will be showcasing what makes Geneva special during the week. Representatives will be holding events throughout the city that emphasize art, music, neighborhood revitalization, education, pride of place, history, culture, grassroots initiatives, athletics, recreation, natural beauty and entrepreneurship. Each day, there will be many opportunities for you to Fall4Geneva. Visitors from all over the region, state, country and world are swooning over the only All-America City in the Finger Lakes, and this week will demonstrate all that Geneva has to offer. “It is a pep rally that is spilling out into the streets,” Campbell commented. Dozens of individual events have been planned for the week, but will now fall under the umbrella of reaping in the autumn season and harvesting the assets that encourage all to live, play, and work in the City. Downtown businesses who opt to participate by decorating their storefront with the Fall4Geneva logo and an autumn theme, and provide a discount or special during the week will be offered special advertising on the event website and social media platforms.
