Seneca Co. Sheriff’s Narcotic Investigators arrest 2

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit Investigators arrested two people this week on two unrelated incidents. Arrested were the following: Susan E. Rivera, age 39 of 28 Dorchester Avenue in Geneva, on charges of:Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, a Class D FelonyCriminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree (two counts),Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree,Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree, all Class A Misdemeanors The charges stem from an investigation of Rivera in which it is alleged that she aiding and assisted a person who was wanted by New York State Parole Officers and Law Enforcement. At the time of arrest, Rivera was hiding in a camper on Seneca Boulevard in the Town of Waterloo with the Parolee, Willie D. McKoy, Jr., age 28, no permanent address. McKoy was subsequently taken into custody by Parole Officers. The camper was searched by Parole Officers and a quantity of cocaine, a digital scale, packaging material commonly used in the sale of illicit drugs, over $700 in cash, and a billyclub were seized and turned over to Sheriff’s Investigators. Rivera was arraigned in the Varick Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail/$10,00 0 secured bond. Rivera is to reappear in the Waterloo Town Court on September 4 at 4 pm. The investigation remains open and charges against McKoy are pending. Daniel J. Everett, age 24 of 12 West Elizabeth Street in Waterloo, on charges of:Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A MisdemeanorPromoting Prison Contraband in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor The charges stem from an investigation of Everett allegedly possessing a controlled substance while confined as an inmate in the Seneca County Correctional Facility. Correction Officers conducted a routine cell search of Everett’s cell and located a quantity of suboxone. Everett is currently incarcerated on other charges and is to appear in the Romulus Town Court on September 11 at 10 am.
