On Friday the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Jeremiah M. Berch, age 30 of Penn Yan, for AUO in the 3rd, Suspended Registration, and Operating a Motor Vehicle while Cell Phone in Use.The arrest stems from a traffic stop on Brown Street in the Village of Penn Yan for a traffic infraction. A subsequent check of his operating privileges and registration showed to be suspended.Berch was transported back to the department for processing and released on tickets to appear in Village Court at a later date.
